Entry date January 31, 2008

Welp, I may have come a bit late on this
news, but hell, it's still news to me!
The wonderful people at Art Asylum
has released an all new set of updated
and beautifully detailed Madball toys not
too long ago. Click here for the official
Madball site!
I came across them once on ebay when I
was looking for the original release toys
from the 80.
While I was searching for sites regarding
the balls, I came across a very cool site
called I-Mockery which was holding up
a create your own madball contest and I
totally jumped on it!
I didnt really care if I won or not. I just
wanted a good excuse to make my own
Madball design!
Though I'm very much busy, I totally
sacrificed some work time to get these
done.
I used my handy dandy Intuos 1 Wacom
Tablet and stylus pen with Adobe
Photoshop CS2 to create these babies.
I really really enjoyed the hell out of
making these and plan
to do more in the future.
In fact, as a personal project, I intend on
sculpting each one and casting them out
of foam to paint them and have them as
my own line of Madball toys.
I hope you enjoy these pics as much as I
do. I definitely have a thing for gross
snot, puss, blood and ugly. hahaha.
I'm so glad I kept my Madball toys.
Especially the one called "Arrhg" which is
my personal favorite. =)
If you'd like to see my other Madball
creation, click here to view the first
one I did and named "Ol Saint Sick", a
play on Old Saint Nick aka Santa Claus.
:p
Thanks for stopping by my latest pick
and flick!
Rock on!
-Nar!
Till next time, pick it and FLICK IT!

Today's Pick and Flick!
A tribute to the return of a popular and controversial 80's toy line by Amtoy!

Please note that this isn't an official toy design for any official license production. This is purely my own design for a contest submission in which I intend to experiment with in the future.

Scope out these all new Madballs!! I don't think I've
been this excited over a re-release of a vintage toy line
from the 80s.
