My Production Dungeon
Living it up in Southern California like a true geek.
The Door
We'll start with my door.  Nothing special besides the bad ass Spawn
poster I scored over at Ebay.  I've been wanting one of these for years and it
never occurred to me to search Ebay.  What a noob. <_<
Oh and my cool Mortal Kombat wall clock!
Actually, I made that by printing out a high rez photo copy of the logo and
placing it over a perfect numerical clock template that fit inside the casing.
Not too shabby eh? :)
This is where I used to take care
of all my sculpting chores.
There hasn't been any sculpting done
in about a year now. I always keep
telling myself "finish that Spawn damn
it! Finish it!" But alas, when free time
comes my way which is rarely, I spend
it either sleeping, or watching my
favorite movies...or frikken myspace.
<_<

Once upon a time, this was the first art
desk I used to do my homework on
when I got back from school.
It's now a place where my random
stuff sits.

That one piece of paper with the green
writing on it was given to me by my
former students when I took the leave
to continue my mission in comics.

It was one of those things that would
put a small knot in your throat. One day,
I shall frame it.
The Main Art Desk Area
I love working in a tight and cosy environment. It feels like I'm on some type of control deck.  All that surrounds me here are
considered a convenience when we're talking about reach.  Every now and then, I change things around out of boredom.
Again, all here has been set up over a period of years.  You work hard, get paid and get what you need to get by.  I remember
all I ever had was a glass coffee table to work on and some regular #2 pencils.
Now I get to work on something better
and listen to music while I'm at it. :)
Sculpting table or was..
Posters posters and more posters!
This would be my inner child's dream come true.
Sadly, I don't get to spend as much time having
fun playing my games. I spend more time
collecting them instead. <_<

My favorite systems till this day are still the ones
from yesterday. The Super Nintendo,  Nintendo,
Nintendo 64 (only to play MK Trilogy and Turok
Seeds of Evil), Gamecube,Sega Genesis, Sega
Dreamcast and my PS2.  I've yet to try the XBOX
360 or PS3, but as soon as Mortal Kombat 8 is
released, I'm going to pursue one or the other. :)
Please visit me again anytime! ;]
Hello everyone. I decided to take some pictures of my current workplace which is bound to change. I've been living here for some years
now and living in the same city for pretty much, most of my life. East Los Angeles isn't exactly the nicest place to be but it's definitely
gotten much, much better than before.  I still sense a bit of danger around the known parts of this city, but for the most part, it's been safe
to take walks out at night where in the past, was totally not unless you wanted to come back home looking like swiss cheese.
So many memories will be left behind when I leave.
Game Stations!
The Computer Lab
This is my computer which is located right
by the exit (you can see the Spawn poster
from here).  I basically built my entire
setup over many years.  Non of this stuff
hopped on my lap for free. (except the
scanner thanks to Eddie!)

I like having many visuals saturate my
work place for inspiration, motivation and
just to add some color to my matte off
white walls. <_<

My computer setup consists of a self built
tower with a Gigabyte chipset running with
a 3.4ghz HT P4 processor
(yeah, I know, I've
yet to move onto the dual or quad cores yet. Too
expensive!)
.

3 GB of RAM, 256MB 16 pixel pipelined
AIW ATI video card with tv capture
components
(the software suit sucks!) Sata
10,00 rpm 74GB main boot drive and
200GB 7.000 rpm slave drive, both
devided into partitions. 2 burners, one
DVD-R and one CD-R. Speaker set are
Logitech surround with 24bit creative
sounblaster software suit.

Not the best of the best but does all my
chores just fine. :)
My bat chair for when I want to pretend I'm Michael
Keaton (Tim Burton's Bruce Wayne) behind all his
monitors. Cuz, You know...  I'm a dork sometimes.
<_<
Dancing Bumblebee!! :)
I love Ghostbusters
and scored on this
sweet poster. :)

It's really funny
because my room
has been known to
be haunted by an
unknown force.

Till this day, funny
little things happen
that are more than
just typical
coincidence.

Well, anywho.

Let's take a look at
whats inside!
The Door from
the outside
So what's with all the posters you say?  Part of my comic
book Feng Shui nightmare set up here was to help create a
darker room
(since i can't actually paint it) and helps me always
remember what I am.

A huge nerd.

No, just kidding. Well sorta.  Actually, this demonstrates my
devotion to my profession.  I'm a comic book artist.  A graphic
designer.  A sculptor. Hell.. let's just stick with "artist" in its
raw definition.
Nothing fancy shmancy here folks. I'm here to rock comic
goodness!

I've had that Crow poster (
my favorite) for many years. It was
purchased in some run down shop in Hollywood.
And yes, more Spawn.
I don't care what anyone says. Spawn rocks.
McFarlane and Capullo are still
two of my inner mentors when it
comes to comic book business
success. :)
Everyone, I'd like to introduce you to Timmy.  My
closet monster.  Usually very shy.  <_<

Ok, so it's not really a monster. Still, it never
ceases to freak people out when they see it
staring at them.
How do I sleep with that thing in my closet?
Well, I'm pretty desensitized by it.  In fact, it's really
difficult to scare me with monsters and ghouls.
I find them to be really cool looking instead.

Just latex rubber folks. ;]

This is one of my favorite masks I've seen.
Possibly has a few more years of life to it before it
completely deteriorates from oxidization. :(

Welp, that's all for now kids.
Thanks for stopping bye.  Hope you enjoyed this
page.

Bye bye for now.
